Podcast #23 Dream Closet Project: the Madmen Retro Closet
What’s old is new again, a retro closet to go with your retro wardrobe!
As a designer constantly on the lookout for ideas, some time you find your inspiration and some time the inspiration finds you! While visiting a friend we couldn’t help cute notice the cute retro flip clock he had on his desk, it was distinctly styled and refreshingly mechanical. Turns out that by chance he found a huge collection of flip clocks that someone tossed, and had pick them up and stash them in his closet.

We are always on the look out for unique furniture pieces with loads of personality. We happily stumble onto the British furniture maker Sweetpea & Willow and their eye-catching Numbers Up Bombé Chest. Classically shaped with a modern and playful painted finish, the combination create a well balanced design that’ll make quite the impression or even inspire some interesting theme. It’ll be quite an interesting adventure to find matching pieces to go with this chest!

Last week we took a look at the amazing examples of micro hotels for some unusual inspirations on design for tiny spaces: Link Now that we had some interesting inspirations, it’s time for design! We especially liked the concept of the 9h hotel. An hotel design specifically to help some enjoy an optimized (and super fast) hotel experience. And we thought; now if we can design a closet that work just as efficiently and in similar way, it’ll certainly make our morning rush a lot easier! A closet that’ll let you fully dress and ready to go in 5 minutes!
