Ask an Architect for 5cents at the Brooklyn Flea! plus our question of the day: Adding a green roof!
Got a question? We got answers!
As long as you got a nickel, we promise to make it worthwhile! We ran our Ask an Architect booth at the Brooklyn Flea this past weekend and had another fun day. How About Taking a Bath in Your Closet?
Taking a bath inside your closet has never been easier or more stylish!!
We are not saying that you should, and we’re not even sure if it is a good idea. But, in case if you have been pining for the chance to take a bath inside your closet. The inspiration for this project came from Anna’s dutch/finnish background and her childhood memories of the Finnish sauna rituals of bathing by a lake and surrounded by nature.
Time Square’s hot island and cool water (and how you can bring it home!)
Just in case if you had any doubt the power of a cool idea and some paint. Here’s a installation from the artist Molly Dillworth in Time Square call Cool Water, Hot Island. Which is an abstract representation of the heat island effect (also just an awesome use of an otherwise plain surface). I wonder how long will it be, before people show up in swimming trunks and towels to take photos with it.
