In  this week’s EZarchitecture-Work podcast,  we will discuss the design for the Bloomberg LP Headquarters building , located in Midtown NYC.

It is the headquarters of one of the largest financial software, media, and data companies of the world.

The building was designed by the Architect Cesar Pelli and Associates, and the Interior Architects were Studios Architecture and Pentagram.

These is our corporate offices design series. Here is a look to this week’s Manhattan’s top 2 law firm offices !

We are going to show you these 2 great examples of modern law firm offices, coincidentally in same building, designed by Butler Rogers Baskett Architects .

Sheresky Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan LLP(SAMS) / Gregory P. Joseph(GPJ)

First we start with this warm and stylish space , full of contrast between the frosted/textured glass and the brown wood veneer in elevator lobby.

EZarchitecture Podcast #15 Latest projects: Manhattan’s baby gear store

Images of Baby Cottons, one of our projects. It is a baby gear retail store located in Upper East Side, in a landmark building. It was done in partnership with a friend and colleague, Pablo Jendretzky from Jendretzky LLC.

Exterior elevation, facade over Madison and 89th street.

It is located  in a space formerly used by the nearby Saint Davis School for a gym.

Now we are going to discuss about sustainable design and green prefab homes. We came across to Michelle Kaufman’s website and blog where we read about her and the green MK Prefabricated homes.

Michelle is an architect, designer and advocate for smarter ways to design, build and live.  Her mission with all of her work is to make thoughtful, sustainable design accessible. She specializes in sustainable lifestyle design including single family homes, eco-luxury resorts, and multi-family communities.

I just came across to a really interesting article about an special house. This is a very flexible house that changes its form when it is need it, having more shade and protection in winter, or it can be open to the light and visuals in summer. How could this house prepare to do that?

Shopping for a home? During this time of financial uncertainties I find that even those people who are doing the shopping is somewhat surprised that they are looking. But at the same time you have to live somewhere, and the one bedroom rental you are living in now is hardly a great place to raise kids!
